Our Commitments

At LFD, we believe fashion deserves more than a single life. Our mission is to keep garments in circulation and to prove that the high street can thrive on responsibility, creativity and sustainability.

We work with two streams of clothing: Pre-loved garments, which are sustainably cleaned and expertly restored in partnership with eco-conscious specialists, ensuring every piece feels fresh, timeless and ready to wear again.

Surplus, excess and end-of-season stock, sourced through brand partnerships. These items are new but would otherwise be written off as deadstock and often end up in landfill.

This unique mix allows us to curate collections that are both accessible and aspirational, blending loved designer fashion with rescued stock from credible brands. What others call waste, we see as opportunity.

LFD Reworked

Alongside restoring garments, we run the LFD Reworked collection, a community-driven initiative where pre-loved items are upcycled into one-of-a-kind pieces. Designed collaboratively by our volunteers, local designers and workshop participants, LFD Reworked celebrates creativity, skill-sharing and the power of community in shaping a more sustainable fashion future.

By restoring, reworking and showcasing these pieces in our store, we act as a high street disruptor, offering an alternative to fast fashion while setting new standards for resale.

Transparency underpins everything we do, from our cleaning and restoration process to teaching participants in our workshops how to design and create sustainable, ethical collections. Every purchase and every workshop is a step towards reducing waste, supporting skills development and driving a circular fashion future.
